The Premier League returns this weekend, after it seems to have only finished last season a few days ago. After last season was extended due to the Covid-19 pandemic this new season has been slightly delayed but now we are ready to get underway again and Fulham entertain Arsenal in the first game of the season. Arsenal head to Fulham on Saturday 12 th September for the Premier League curtain raiser and the 12.30pm clash live on BT Sport looks like a cracking match to get the season started.
Big things are expected, or hoped from Arsenal by many football fans, and with Fulham being newly promoted it does offer an intriguing football match. In this Fulham v Arsenal betting preview we are going to look at the betting markets and see if we can find, not only some winning tips, but also some betting tips that offer some decent betting value as well.
Match Winner Betting
The first betting market we’re going to look at is simply the match winner bet market. It is hard to see past an Arsenal victory in all honestly and it is something we will be betting on and you may be a little surprised that you can get best odds of 10/17 with VBet for this. This looks a little on the generous side to us, so it floats our boat and will be our first bet. It isn’t very adventurous, but we are all about finding genuine betting value and we think 10/17 ticks that box. For bettor looking for something with bigger returns, Fulham can be backed generally at 5/1 with a host of different bookies, but it might be worth keeping an eye on BetVictor as they have been flirting around ffering 11/2 at times. For the draw you should be heading to VBet again as they are offering the best odds for that bet at 7/2.
Correct Score Betting
A popular betting market that people enjoy is trying to guess the score and for this we have picked out 2 possible correct score bets we like the look of. Although we do expect an Arsenal win, we also expect Fulham to manage to score. Arsenal to win 2-1 is our prediction and you can find the best odd for this bet with Bet365 who are offering 8/1 when most other bookies are offering 7/1. If you are feeling a little bit more daring you might want to look at the 3-1 Arsenal win betting where you’ll find a more rewarding 12/1 with Bet365 and BetVictor.
First Goalscorer Betting
As it is the first game of the Premier League season we thought it would be interesting to have a look at the first goalscorer betting. As you may expect Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is leading the betting to be the first goalscorer, but although he usually steps up to take the penalties the odds are fairly short with 13/5 being the best available odds with 888Sport and Unibet. We’re going to head to Alexandre Lacazette though for our bet and we’d be happy to bet on the 4/1 available with a handful of bookmakers, including Boylesports. It will be no surprise though that Fulham fans probably won’t be betting on that so they maybe looking towards their big striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, who was their top scorer last season. 7/1 can be found with a few bookies including Bet365 and 888Sport which could be tempting for some seeing as Betfred are as short as 4/1.
Other Betting Markets
For a little bit of interest for those who now like to get involved with the stats betting we have picked out a total cards bet, but this is more for fun than to be lumping huge amount on. We think the William Hill Total Match Cards betting market is interesting and the 6/4 they are offering for 4-6 card being shown in the match looks interesting.
We do hope you have enjoyed this Fulham v Arsenal betting value and have found it useful. We will not try and pretend that these bets are the best out there, we just think we have found some good value bets that will made you some decent profit, and long term profit. Also don’t forget to look at our free bets on the homepage and these could give you even more returns with you are betting with the bookmakers’ cash as well. Also please remember that the odds in this preview were correct t the time of writing this, but are liable to change, so please look around, and remember, please gamble responsibly. Good luck.
